The forest of Choussy

This 3h30 trail is ideal for moments of calmness and tranquility in the shade of the beautiful forest of Choussy and along the “Le Bavet” river. During this excursion full of wildlife, and with a bit of luck, you will be able to meet some wild animals!

You will pass closely by Château du Gué-Péan, from the Renaissance period, which can be visited every summer. For impatient oenophiles, Choussy is also a wine village. You can taste, in moderation, the wines from local producers!

The water trail

Located between Sologne and Touraine, enjoy an 8 km hike leaving from the municipal Roger pond. During this 2-hour trail, you will discover wooded or rural natural areas, and different areas specific to wine or vegetable cultivation.

At the start of the trail, the pond offers a moment of relaxation conducive to fishing or a picnic accompanied by the wines of Touraine-Oisly. You can then admire the fully restored dovecote, as well as the Epiphany altarpiece, present in the Gothic church of Notre-Dame, the oldest religious object, classified as a Historical Monument in this French department.

 The path to the vineyard

A more athletic 13km trail that will take you among the vineyard lodges of the Cher valley, the Beauregard manor, the church of St Clair as well as the St Clair fountain. The vineyard trail, ideal for landscape lovers, offers a breathtaking panorama.

In short, it is a gourmet, epicurean and patrimonial experience in the heart of Val de Cher and its traditions!

Passing through the Boudinière

An itinerary composed of 80% of nature paths from the church of Saint-Cyr-et-Sainte-Julitte. This 11km and not so steep hike is ideal for walkers and nature lovers of all ages. Go to Contres for a hike in Sologne, an exceptional territory recognized for the richness of its natural heritage and the diversity of its fauna and flora.
