An exceptional terroir recognized 10 years ago
As early as 1905, it was reported that Sauvignon blanc was present in the Oisly vineyard. In the 1970s, wines from Oisly stand out in many competitions and become highly regarded.
In the 90’s, winemakers carry out a terroir study highlighting the perfect match between Sauvignon blanc and the Oisly terroir. In 2011 the INAO officially recognizes the complementary geographical designation: Oisly.
Wines produced in the heart of Sologne Viticole
The wines of Touraine-Oisly are produced in Sologne Viticole on a plateau between the Loire and the Cher. The area is characterized by large undulations sometimes limited by slightly sloping hillsides.
This green region has been offering the best of Sauvignon Blanc for generations, to the delight of our taste buds.
The soil in the parcels is mainly sandy

Climate is one of the most important factors in wine production. The wines of Touraine-Oisly benefit from a mainly oceanic atmosphere, constant and mild in winter as in summer and therefore ideal for vine development.
Touraine-Oisly wines are aged on fine lees
Touraine-Oisly wines are aged on fine lees (natural yeasts from fermentation) at least until April 30th following the harvest. These yeasts bring body, beautiful structure and reveal the subtle aromas of Sauvignon Blanc, all while maintaining the freshness of the wine.

The wines of Touraine-Oisly are represented by 11 passionate winemakers who cultivate a total of thirty hectares.
Each year they produce about 200,000 bottles.
Touraine-Oisly, regularly awarded at the World Sauvignon Competition!
In 2020, Touraine-Oisly wines were a success at the World Sauvignon Competition! With 7 medals in total awarded, including 6 Gold medals among the 1,100 wines presented in 2020!
In 2021, 1 Silver medal was awarded to Touraine-Oisly.
